Application / Function
SHUIFLOC AN-100 are synthetic organic polymers used for the clarification of industrial waste waters and surface waters as well as for sludge conditioning. The use of these flocculants ensures high clarity of the treated water and remarkable increase of the sedimentation rate. The products are effective at a low dose rate and operate over a wide pH range 4-13 . Can also be used for purification and water purification processes due to mining ( mining ) and Oil & Gas .

Terms of Use
The use of SHUICHEM AN-100 range must be prepared in suitable plants equipped with feeding and dispersion system for dry powders and with continuous and moderate agitation (200—500 rpm). The dissolution water must have a temperature included between 10°C and 40°C; the concentrations of solutions must be 0.1% to 0.3%. In order to achieve the best possible results, it is necessary to allow a “maturation” period of 50-60 minutes and to use a concentration lower than or equal to 0.1% (through in line dilution, if necessary).
When treating turbid water, the flocculant must be added to the water in a point of average turbulence, in order to achieve a thorough and homogeneous mixing without impairing the floc formation. The polymer must be dosed in several points in order to achieve the best results. Dosage rates must be calculated each time through preliminary laboratory tests.
